Where do you go to find your inner peace?
Working 14 hours a day, 7 days a week, being exhausted and not having a home life is often considered the traditional badge of honour when climbing the career ladder. Slowly it is being considered for what it is: a negative for your wellbeing.
Has this wellbeing consideration come out of Covid self reflection? Or is the human race, at last, going through our next evolution away from commercialism to self wholeness? At the foundation of all of this is you. How do you calm your mind, relax and let all the past baggage, the future worries, drop from your shoulders?
I head to the water, to the Lochs and the sea. I listen to the motion, I cleanse my soul in the waves and I find peace.
