Date: 25th February 2022
In early February we did a call out to Diageo and the community to hear the stories of people who used to work at the distillery where we now call home. Our wish is to save the buildings and in turn, the precious memories that come with them.
Getting to know a building takes time. Capturing the history, the wear and tear on the fabric of the structure, tells us how people interacted.
The Harvey House main entrance door has seen years of people coming and going … and we hope to bring life back through these doors for our community.
We have had a wonderful response from local people who used to work at the Carsebridge Site! The stories are wonderful, from the friendships made on site to the Copper skills, brilliant!
If you worked there or know someone who did, let us know – we want to capture the lives, work and importance of this Alloa history!
Onwards,
